Tasting notes compiled by Michael Oliver food and wine commentator and life time achievement award winner for Eat Out.
Norah’s Valley Cashmere Rosé is a premium non alcoholic rose wine made of the finest Cinsaut and Blanc de noir grapes from the Western Cape Wine of Origin Appellation. Accordingly, it has less than 0.5% alcohol, low in sugar and is officially dry. The Norah’s Valley Cashmere Rosé is low in calories, and the result is a crisp delicate bodied wine.
Wine of Origin – Western Cape
Composition – 100% Cinsaut and Blanc de noir blend
Maturation – The wine is made for immediate drinking.
We brought the grapes to the wine cellar and later destalked and crushed. Undertaking, the conventional fermentation and wine-making process. We remove the alcohol from the finished wine with no additions and are chemical-free. We put the wine through a spinning cone at low temperatures in a vacuum using cutting-edge technology. The fermentation takes place following maturation in French Oak Barrels.
Elegantly labeled in a clear-coloured bottle to showcase the pink salmon color, closed with a screw cap. Above all, the non-alcoholic rose wine in the glass is a pale salmon pink. This non-alcoholic rose offers generous notes of fresh-cut strawberries, rose petals, candy floss eventually a delicious crisp palate. Basically, well balanced and harmonious in the waning aftertaste.
The Norah’s Valley rosé is a great glass on its own, with some ice if necessary, and is an excellent food partner without doubt. Serve chilled at between 7°C and 10°C. Enjoy this low-calorie and vegan-friendly Rosé with your favorite oriental dishes, desserts, salmon, salad, and pizza.
Lastly, check out other alcohol-free wines.
